Personal Budget Tracker (the "Service") is provided by Harun Ng'ang'a Mwangi, an individual ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with Harun Ng'ang'a Mwangi. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
An online monthly budgeting tool for recording income, expenses and savings, viewing charts and insights, and sharing a budget with up to three family members using invite codes. Access requires a one-time fee or a valid family invite code.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be of legal age in your country, or use the Service with a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including by:
- using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or for spam;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
- interfering with its security, e.g. uploading malware, probing for weaknesses, or scraping;
- reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service, or bypassing its limits (including invite-code limits).
4. Ownership
We own the Service and all related intellectual property, including the software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for personal and family budgeting. You keep ownership of the budget data you enter, and allow us to store and process it only to provide the Service.
5. Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
6. Service level
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is a budgeting aid, not financial advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a purpose.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time. When access ends, you may ask us by email to export or delete your data.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the courts of Kenya.
